consider the following tab in D major for a normally tuned 6 string guitar
---------------------------------
---------------------------------
-------------------16F-6A--------
------------17G-7B---------------
-----19H-9C----------------------
-10D-----------------------------
you'll notice the tab looks unusual in that it has a letter following each number
letters show which finger should be used for each note ("A" - first finger left hand, "B" - second finger left hand)
( "D" - first finger right hand, "E" - second finger right hand, etc. )
it's easy to create new drills .... first, use the "Left Hand Sequence Diagram"
in the drill above, I decided to use the left hand sequence "d , c , b , a"
then, we use the "Tapping Sequence Diagram" to determine the right hand sequence
in the drill above, I decided to use the right hand sequence "h , g , f"
then, I used the PrintChart program to decide what fret positions to play
and the rhythm of what order to play them came to me experimentally
it is beneficial to try and incorporate sliding into your two hand drills
the following tab shows a highly mutated version of the first drill for normal 6 string tuning
